Dramatically Transforming
Neglected Attics

There are too many East Devon homes to count with empty, neglected loft spaces simply serving as overflow storage, often for things that should have gone to the tip or local charity shop years ago. And as we all know, space commands a premium now more than ever. So why is it so common to let that potential sit untapped? With the help of a builder and specialist for loft conversions, like Transform Attic Ltd, homeowners from Exeter to Paignton, Sidmouth to Torquay can carve out a brand new section of their property to use as they see fit.

With a deep understanding of local planning regulations, building codes and the architectural idiosyncrasies of different historical periods, we’re able to consistently deliver attic conversions that go above and beyond client expectation. Our team can recommend the right style of conversion to meet your needs, e.g dormer, mansard, hip-to-gable or rooflight, and ensure it’s fitted out with everything necessary for your intended use. Home office, gym, studio, extra bedroom, master bathroom – the choice is yours…

We are very pleased with our new loft room and en-suite by TransformAttic. Dan was extremely helpful with advice from the beginning, and made the most of the available space. The whole team did a great job. Our visitors, who stayed over Christmas, loved the room. We would definitely recommend TransformAttic.

After reading previous reviews, we can only mirror what has said before without sounding like a broken record! If you are interested in a group of builders that bring good vibes, positivity, expertise, ideas, solutions, excitement, pride in their work and professionalism, then you better get Dan and Jordan round to talk about your building plans. As soon as we met with Dan to talk though our conversion plan's we knew he was the man for us. Mainly because his knowledge of loft conversions was second to none, due to years and years in the business, but also because even as we were talking in our first meeting, he was so personable and seemed genuinely excited to be able to create what we had in our heads. He was straight talking and filled us with confidence. He'll tell you what is and isn't possible and can pose ideas that you haven't even though of to get the best results. During the build Dan kept us informed of each part and welcomed our involvement and ideas throughout. Aside from the build cost, (which did not change from the quoted price day one) Dan managed to save us money though his trade connections on just about every other purchase necessary to finish the conversion. They turned up at 8am on the dot every day and worked hard. They were always respectful of our home, they never left for the day without making sure things were clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and in fact, we would go as far as to say we were sad to see them go once the build was finished. We're saving up to invite them back to help us on the next project! Dan, Jordan and the team are a credit to the building trade and if you fancy meeting a group of genuinely lovely guys you won't go far wrong leaving your loft conversion to them. But - if you don't like making cups of tea, having a laugh and listening to happy builders singing to the radio while they work (possible Britain's Got Talent auditionees) you should call another firm.

Dan and his team at Transformattic did a 5* job converting our unused loft space into a new master bedroom with en-suite. From start to finish, Dan was on hand to explain every step of the process, talk us through the decisions we needed to make and the options available to us. Dan was always thinking one step ahead, spotting potential issues or raising ideas that meant we wouldn’t have to compromise at a later date and could maximise the use of the space. His experience really shone through here. It’s clear Dan takes pride in his work and has high standards when it comes to the finish, as if it’s his own home. If it’s not right, he’ll have it done again. Overall, very pleased with the outcome. We wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend Transformattic to anyone considering a loft conversion. The only downside is you’ll have to listen to Dan’s singing for weeks on end!! 🤣

A brilliant job done by the company. Everything kept to the schedule & timescale quoted. It is Most refreshing & rare to have a construction company that actually do what they say they will do. People On site working all day every day until completion, & working hard. We thoroughly recommend TransformAttic for any loft conversion.

I have just had my loft conversion finished by Transform Attic and I am absolutely thrilled. From the moment I met Dan and Jordan I knew I had made the right decision to use them for the build. Everything was so straightforward and their attention to detail is fantastic. Dan and his team were a pleasure to have working in my house and nothing was too much trouble. Communication from the start was fantastic and due to their experience the advice and guidance they offered was amazing and they think of everything. They are very competitively priced with no added hidden extras and their workmanship is all done to an exceptionally high standard. They even arranged for me to go and view some of their other work locally before going ahead. If you are looking for a loft conversion I absolutely would recommend Transform Attic.
